About Us

Daniel Method Accent Training is a product of Skillbuilder Communication Resources.  This innovative approach to accent training customizes coaching to the individual client’s needs and provides on-on-one face-to-face coaching to clients located anywhere in the world.

Our clients are dedicated and driven, spending more time on self-study and practice than they do in coaching.  They want others to hear what they say rather than focusing on how they say it.  We use “Standard American” as a reference simply because it is readily understood by millions of English speakers around the world.  It is not our goal to make everyone sound the same; rather, we seek to move clients toward a standard of pronunciation that will allow them to communicate clearly with any speaker of English without having to repeat themselves and without having to wonder whether or not the intended message reached the recipient.

In addition to our one-on-one training, we offer small group sessions in our local locations.  These groups are comprised of individuals of a similar first language or regional dialect background who have similar pronunciation issues.  This allows participants to develop an ear for target sounds by listening to others, provides multiple sources of feedback, and creates an affordable solution for clients seeking intense training.
